“GMJV was the principal contractor on The Cove and Kilkreggan Waste Water Pump and Transfer Contract. This contract involved a good deal of disruptive works along the shore and grassed areas in the villages of Cove and Kilkreggan. The villagers were rightly proud of their grassed areas and foreshore so we had to have a landscape contractor whom we could trust to do a good job and give the community back the areas in its original, or better, state. We found in Careth that they had a positive can do attitude and were very proactive when it came to provision of construction techniques and advice on landscape treatment. We found in Keith someone who could communicate with the local community in a sympathetic manner and as some of the work had to be completed after we had vacated the site we could trust to deliver a quality product.
